January was cold. London and the rest of the country was hit by proper, build-a-snowman, doesn't-melt-for-days snow, several times.  Brr.  So there were some wrapped-up walks, snowball fights and snow angels before it turned to grey slush and everything went back to normal.  I was tempted in the January sales, saw the Tim Walker exhibition at Somerset House, saw Midnight's Pumpkin by my favourite theatre group Kneehigh Theatre (great fun), Viva Forever (guiltily enjoyable), Uncle Vanya (Anna Friel was excellent), Complicite's Master and Margarita (didn't love it...), had lots of dinners with friends and willed Spring to hurry up.
