As the hordes of Olympics visitors begin to descend on our already fairly crowded capital city (17 days to go!), it's time to celebrate the best of the wonderful British transport systems: the hot and stuffy London Underground... Which I will be avoiding throughout the London 2012 Games and instead I'm going all Mark Ronson and gonna ride my bike (the video for which was incidentally filmed in my 'hood).

Still, I'm celebrating the terrible tube anyway with this fabulous A-Z print designed by Tim Fishlock.  Commissioned by the London Transport Museum for the 'Mind the Map' exhibition, the illustrator produced 300 exclusive, limited edition signed prints and you can still grab one for £35 over at ltmuseumshop.co.uk.

In seventeen years working as an artist and designer, Tim has been involved in an especially wide-ranging collection of art and design projects. From hands-on production for public art and architectural commissions to designing a host of branding, digital and identity work. Key to Tim’s working method are the themes of play, colour and interactivity. His intention is always to produce work that displays both industry and simplicity and hopefully raises a smile.
