Here are seven current favourite products, which make my skincare regimen feel like a ritual rather than a routine - from a smoothing, silky moisturiser to plumping sheet masks I've been indulging in every week, plus the best face oil I've tried in years.
Gatineau Goodies: Collagene Expert™ Ceramide Smoothing Cream, Collagene Expert™ Hydra Essence, Radiance Enhancing Vitamin C Serum & Golden Glow Gradual Tan
Gorgeous skincare from the French heritage brand established in Paris by visionary facialist Jeanne Gatineau in 1932. The plumping Ceramide Smoothing Cream is pure indulgence in a jar: it's a rich, velvety moisturiser powered by a potent blend of collagen and ceramides to help smooth, firm and hydrate - plus it smells amazing. My favourite Gatineau product so far.
The Weekly Ritual: Skimono Anti-Ageing+ Sheet Masks
Sunday evenings at home call for relaxing and resetting, which currently means a collagen sheet mask for a rejuvenating treat each week. Skimono's masks are infused with a collagen-enriched serum to boost elasticity, grapeseed extract packed with antioxidants to fight free radicals, and soothing oats to calm the skin. After thirty minutes, it's like hitting refresh on my tired, dehydrated complexion, leaving plumper, smoother skin.
The BEST Oil: U Beauty’s Super Intensive Face Oil
I love face oils year-round, but as the temperature drops, this one from U Beauty has become my obsession. The Super Intensive Face Oil is formulated with squalane, vitamin C, and omega-rich oils to strengthen the skin barrier and deliver a radiant finish. Hyaluronic acid locks in deep hydration, and the silky, non-greasy texture gives that glassy, dew-drop finish. It's a splurge, but a little goes a long way, and it's probably the best facial oil I've ever tried.
Science Meets Nature: Fjör’s Microbiome Skincare
Microbiome health is having a moment, and Fjör is leading the way on science-backed skincare. The Scandinavian brand creates formulas clinically proven to support the skin’s natural ecosystem and enhance microbiome diversity by feeding your skin’s "good bacteria". The collection is minimalist, effective, and leaves skin hydrated, resilient and brighter.
Silky New Dermalogica: Neurotouch Symmetry Serum
When Dermalogica launches something new, it’s always worth paying attention. Their latest serum is a lightweight, silky facial oil designed to glide across the skin - perfect for massage or gua sha rituals to sculpt the face. The formula helps to lift and firm, while replenishing essential lipids that diminish with age and stress. The luxurious texture leaves a fresh, dewy finish perfect under makeup.
The Collagen Coffee Ritual
I’ve been adding Ancient + Brave’s collagen powder to my morning coffee and, outside of pregnancy, my nails have never been happier or stronger. Sourced from sustainably-raised, grass-fed bovine collagen, it’s flavourless and dissolves instantly, making it an effortless addition to any daily routine. Beauty from the inside out, one sip at a time. This was gifted, but I'll definitely be re-ordering.
New in from Nécessaire: The Hand Retinol
Colder temperatures means it’s time to up your skincare, including your hands. Nécessaire’s Hand Retinol is a non-greasy repair serum which harnesses pure retinol, niacinamide, and peptides to improve texture, reduce fine lines, and strengthen brittle cuticles. Paired with their Hand Cream, infused with marula oil and vitamins C and E, it creates an overnight treatment that leaves hands soft and smooth by morning. I’m a longtime fan of Nécessaire’s minimalist aesthetic and clean formulations, and this duo is as effective as it is chic on my bedside table.
