Six makeup and skincare products I'm loving at the moment, from velvety smooth matte lipsticks to impactful exfoliants, and a facial oil I've bought again and again.

The Unlocked Soft Matte Lipstick from Hourglass packs a pigmented punch. It's matte but glides on with a soft, conditioning finish, and provides hours of coverage without drying out or getting cakey. I either wear it by itself or, as a long-lasting base for colour, topped with the Hourglass Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm, which I featured in my previous beauty faves round up. Love the sleek, magnetic metallic packaging too.
Paula's Choice 6% Mandelic Acid + 2% Lactic Acid Liquid Exfoliant
I’ve loved Paula's Choice exfoliants for years, and the new 6% Mandelic Acid + 2% Lactic Acid Liquid Exfoliant is added to my list of faves from the brand. The gentle AHA toner is tough on breakouts, helping to remove dead skin cells, without compromising your complexion in the process. My combination skin is very happy with it.
Burberry Goddess Eau de Parfum 50ml
I really like receiving perfume as a gift, as I've discovered, worn and loved so many scents I wouldn't usually choose myself this way. At a press day last year, I was gifted Burberry's Goddess fragrance, which is perfect for summer with its warm vanilla notes. I'm not normally a gourmand fragrance kinda gal, but the lingering woody, amber scent is layered with vanilla across the top, heart and base notes, enriched with lavender and patchouli. I also like that the heavy glass bottle is refillable (Burberry's first refillable perfume, and hopefully the norm going forward from all beauty brands and fragrance houses).
Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushers
Rare Beauty's new Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush is the prettiest, glowiest blusher ever. It's lightweight, long-lasting and easy to build a radiant glow, illuminating the complexion with a flush of colour. Cool tones suit me best, so I like the pink Cheer and Happy colours, and it comes in shades to suit all skin tones.
Nécessaire's Eucalyptus Body Wash is a daily, vitamin-enriched cleanser with a gorgeous gender-neutral scent which makes the shower smell wonderful, and lingers on the skin all day. I've tried pretty much the full product range from this clean beauty brand with its slick minimal packaging and Climate Neutral Certified and B Corp credentials, et j'aime tout.
Dermalogica Powerbright Dark Spot Peel
The new Powerbright Dark Spot Peel from my favourite skincare brand is an at-home treatment inspired by professional chemical peels to combat pigmentation. If you have uneven skin tone or marks from breakouts and sun damage, this quick and easy exfoliating product helps revitalise your complexion with a blend of AHAs, PHAs, niacinamide and mandelic acid.
I've lost track of how many silky, smoothing Skinesis Overnight Facials I’ve had over the years. Suitable for all skin types, this award-winning serum oil from London-based facialist Sarah Chapman works wonders as you sleep, giving a brighter, dewy glow when you wake up. The blend of anti-ageing vitamins, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory Omega oils promise plumper, rejuvenated skin - I've used this a LOT over the past few years with a toddler and a baby; it would make a great gift for new mums. Love the delicate floral scent too.
