I'm currently treating my skin to a brilliant new Dermalogica skincare system, researched and developed by The International Dermal Institute. It's protective, regulates melatonin and reduces pigmentation so ideal for summer, plus reduces redness and provides a smooth finish before applying make up.

Starting with the light C-12 Pure Bright Serum, a light skin-brightening product filled with rice-derived phytic acid, antioxidants and algae, which sinks into the skin quickly, smells fresh and clean and rebalances uneven skin tones. Next is the Pure Light Moisturiser, an SPF 50 day cream which shields the skin from pigment-inducing UV light, has botanical extracts to balance uneven skintone and hyaluronic acid to boost your natural moisture barrier, reducing the appearance of dehydration. Before applying foundation, I put on a thin layer of the fantastic new Redness Relief Primer, tinted with natural green botanical extracts to calm irritation and reduce any red, sensitive or flushed areas, which is made with smoothing oat extracts and sunscreen to prevent UV rays doing their damage.

At night I'm using the Pure Night treatment cream, which helps restore skin luminosity with collagen-stimulating vitamin C. Pumpkin enzyme smoothes whilst cranberry and raspberry seed oils restore barrier lipids reducing the appearance of fine lines. All the products are formulated without artificial fragrances, colours or parabens and I would recommend all four.
