I've been wearing L'Occitane's brand new cologne Eau Ravissante every day since I was sent it a couple of weeks ago and, boy oh boy, is it a nice summery scent.

As part of the new summer Eau de Cologne collection from the French fragrance house, Eau Ravissante is joined by the unisex Eau Universelle and the men's aromatic Eau Captivante, all of which were inspired by fountains in the Provence region.

Eau Ravissante evolves as you wear it and seems to tick all the floral/ fruity/ musky boxes; it starts off with a fresh, delicate bouquet of rose petals and damascena rose extract, moves onto zesty lemon and citrus notes then finishes with lingering amber and musk as it warms on the skin.

50ml (£21) or 300ml (£37)

I normally choose eau de parfum for longevity, but the refreshing, watery style of a cologne suits summer well.  Even if the weather isn't great this "summer", we can at least pretend it's hot outside and this is perfect to splash onto skin after the shower and stay fresh.
