I recently went to the private view for Hepzibah Swinford's new The Alternative Flower Show exhibition at the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery.
The London painter's collection of new works of fresh, floral paintings is incredibly vibrant, colourful and mood-enhancing. Despite wearing lots of black and monochrome, I'm a firm believer in a bit of colour therapy - I bet if you had one of her works in your house, it'd cheer you up on even the most miserable mornings.
The title of the show is of course in reference to the upcoming annual Chelsea Flower Show. I haven't been since 2008, when I was snapped by Vogue, but I hope to attend this year because I need a bit of green-fingered inspiration... Are you going?
