Peter Philips, Global Creative Director of Chanel Makeup, created 55 hand-drawn temporary tattoos for Chanel's last show in September in Paris. Focusing on the signature Chanel chains, double-C logo pendants and pearls, these delicate designs are typically monochrome and add an edge to any outfit (SJP wore the chain bracelet with her Chanel Couture at Sunday's Oscars).
I really like the chain designs and in particular the garter for the thigh. I love bird designs but I'm not sure on the bizarre décolleté necklace and Oriental cherry blossom leg designs, although most of them are very cool. I was particularly taken with fake tattoos as a child (particularly glittery pink Mizz covermounts) so I'm thrilled that my favourite design house has reinvented them as as a sophisticated, stylish alternative to jewellery and body art. Top of the lust list. Originally stocked in boutiques, concessions and the Chanel Selfridges counter; obviously sold out but all over eBay.

Only Chanel can make tattoos look so elegant and nostalgic.
That décolleté girl looks like a 90s skank.
Yes, like carny folk.
(I loved that Crazytown album when it came out)
