Warehouse is having a bit of a moment right now. The British high street retailer had a rebrand last year to celebrate its 40th anniversary with a new logo, fresh retail concept and streamlined aesthetic under new design director and queen of print Emma Cook focusing on sleek workwear, contemporary styling and cool separates for city life. Since Topshop seems to be chasing the tweens, Warehouse is slotting nicely into that 20s-40s mid-market (at a more accessible price point than Reiss or Whistles) and it's better than ever. Now January payday is finally here - hallelujah - I've been checking out what's new for spring and have my eye on these six gorgeous dresses from the chic SS17 collection.
Peplum Hem Dress - super versatile to dress up with heels and statement jewellery or down with ballet flats for the day, this simple navy dress with its fun flared hem needs to join my blue dress collection...
Poppy Print Waisted Dress - what a fun print; bold, graphic, colourful and not too out there with its black base and flattering waistband, this is great to wear now with black tights and patent heels and bare legs in summer.
Animal Flute Sleeve Dress - flute sleeves are everywhere this spring and I'm a huge fan. The flippy hem, casual work-appropriate fit and monochrome print ticks all the boxes too.
Lace Peplum Sleeve Dress - I'm a sucker for pretty lace dresses and love the cool tone of this pink shade, the flattering cut and flared skirt. Perfect for spring (when it comes).
Spot Print T-Shirt Dress - weekend dressing doesn't get easier than this. Throw on your Converse and go.
Spaced Sidney Floral Dress - this feminine all-over print is re-imagined in acid brights on a classic navy waisted, 3/4 sleeve dress I could wear to work, events and everything in between.
