LOST INK

LOST INK

Introducing... my new favourite dress from my new favourite brand.  Lost Ink is a London-based label launched in 2014, creating accessible, wearable statement pieces.  I discovered the Autumn/ Winter collection and fell in love with 90% of it - how often does that happen? - full of chic clothes and shoes with pretty ruffles, delicate lace, fun bold prints, sequins and coloured faux fur.  I have not one, not two but three dresses to share on the blog, and they're all just as fabulous as this one.

It ticks so many boxes for me: navy is my favourite colour (and I have a thing for blue dresses), the fit and flare 50s style is feminine, the structured full skirt is dramatic, the metallic fabric and the contrasting black straps and waistband add a modern touch and it's rare to find an elegant "event dress" which is machine washable.  Bonus.  I wore it to my nephew's Christening in September, a friend's wedding in October and I'm looking for an excuse to wear it again soon...  Check out some more statement styles below and the collection at House of Fraser, ASOS and Lipsy.
