KEEP FIT KIT

Olympics fever may have died down but the sports luxe trend is still big.  There are a lot of high street brands trying to tap into the lucrative sportswear market (like H&M Sport), sports-inspired designer collaboration (like Jonathan Saunders for Escada Sport) and sportswear giants selling more fashion-focused fitness kit, like Nike's sleek women's collections, but I think Sweaty Betty merges fashion with function better than most.

Designed by women for women, the British luxury sports brand offers fashionable workout clothes using innovative, technical fabrics designed for particular activities.  The yoga, pilatesdance (I love those meet me at the barre tees) and run collections do the job and are stylish enough to wear outside of the gym too.

The Autumn/ Winter collection (my favourite item was these acid print shorts) is inspired by space exploration, galaxies, stars, 1970s space suits and futuristic prints with nu-rave day-glo touches and glow in the dark fabrics and trims.  Activewear you actually want to wear, now there are no excuses...
