Kate Moss for Topshop AW09/10

The AW09/10 Kate Moss for Topshop range hits the shops tomorrow and whilst she's totally nailed the whole 90s grunge look, I think she's lost her way a little...

Firstly, you are a little too old for ripped tights, Kate; you're not some punky kid hanging out backstage (oh, and the range is complete with lame names like 'groupie coat'). Secondly, there's only so much fake fur, studs, feathers, fringing and rock'n'roll styling one collection can take. BUT I'm sure it will sell well because, as ever, Ms Moss knows what's popular at the moment and the vintage, glamorous take on grunge is all the rage right now.  It's refreshing to see a much-hyped collection launch (especially from Topshop) and not feel the urge to buy anything. Maybe I'm learning discipline and restraint...

I'm a big fan of Mossy, i love the way she looks and throws things together (especially fur and vintage) but i have to agree with you, she is getting on a bit and might be losing it. i lover her stamina, but recently she's just been looking haggard instead of cool and although her recent collection photographs well, it doesn't translate as well in real life. for the prices you'd also expect cotton or silk instead of viscose and poly. shame. think all the hype may be starting to fade.

I didn't realise she uses polyester, that's poor... She's partied hard and it's starting to catch up on her!
